disheo is a community of food lovers that explore what is possible with food.
How does disheo do this?

The community encourages chefs, food critics and food lovers to define what dining culture is by testing ideas against peer review in a fun game environment. The disheo reality game that is built into the social network mixes real world challenges with hypothetical outcomes.
So what do I do in the disheo community?
Once you have signed up as a member, you can play ANY and ALL of 3 roles in a game that educates, creates and defines who and what is at the forefront of dining culture. These roles are the diner, the chef and the critic.
What does a diner do?
A diner challenges the chefs by creating mystery boxes containing ingredients and dietary requirements. By doing so a diner can learn more about the possibilities of their fridge straight from a talented chef.
What does a chef do?
A chef shares their knowledge of food theory by accepting challenges and writing about dishes they would prepare with the contents of a mystery box and in only 20 minutes. By doing so a chef can rise through the ranks of favorite chef representing and promoting their establishment along the way.
What does a critic do?
A critic shares their knowledge of food theory by critiquing the dishes a chef suggests for a specific mystery box. The role of the critic is important in disheo and makes up the a key part in the peer review system that guides the definition of dining culture. By doing the so a critic can also rise through the ranks of favorite critic representing and promoting their establishment along the way.
What can all players do?
Players can comment on dishes and critiques as a second layer to the peer review system. The purpose of the comment field is to raise and widen the level of knowledge of all players. All comments added to disheo must be objective and non personal. Personal attacks may breach the terms of service and a player may be blocked from the community.
